PB Cups

Everyone likes a satisfying and sweet treat sometimes. I like recipes that allow me to say YES when my kids ask, too. These peanut butter cups have a ton of good stuff going on! It’s basically the recipe put out by Mark Hyman with just a tiny tweak.

Ingredients:

Bottom Layer:

2 T Coconut Oil

1/2 tsp Vanilla

1/4 C Natural Peanut Butter

1 T Raw Honey

Combine all of this in a small bowl. Fill each little mini cup halfway. Gently drop the pan onto the counter to settle the mixture. Place in the freezer for about 5 min to set.

Top Layer:

2 T Coconut Oil

1/2 tsp Vanilla

1/4 C Natural Peanut Butter

1/4 C Raw Cacao Powder (you can also use unsweetened cocoa powder)

1 T Raw Honey

Combine all of this in a small bowl. Spoon on top of the bottom layer and again settle it by gently dropping the pan on the counter. Freeze again until completely set.

Pop each little yummy bomb out of the silicone pan** and place in a container in the fridge or freezer!

** I use THESE silicon pans. Using silicone allows you to just pop them out once they are set plus they hold up better than old aluminum pans, clean up easy, and even come in fun shapes
